The Field Museum
Museum Redesign Project
Tasked with reimagining an existing museum’s logo and design assets by examining their core values and beliefs. I chose one of Chicago’s oldest and one of my personal favorites, The Field Museum.
Research
I began my research by examining the museum's history and its mission. The museum was founded in 1893, displaying anthropological artifacts, geological specimens, and a botany collection, which is still true to this day. The museum's mission is “Earth connects all of us to the natural world and the human story.” After further research, I concluded the museum's 3 core values to be research, conservation, and community.

The first moodboard was created based on the museum’s rich history.The second moodboard was created off their core values of research and conservation.
The third moodboard was created on their last core value of community.
